Weekly Storytimes & Programs
Our weekly storytimes and programs generally run in 6 week sessions with 2 weeks off in between. Due to limited space, registration is required. Click on the date and time of program to register, visit our full calendar of events, or follow us on Facebook.
Spring 2 Session: May 6 to June 7
Infants Only: Thursdays 10 am
This gentle yet lively program includes tickling rhymes, peek-a-boo games, short books, nursery rhymes, and music. For children from birth to 1 year old and their caregivers.
Wee Read: Tuesdays 9:30 OR 10:30 am
This program introduces your little one to rhythm, language and reading through finger plays, clapping rhymes, songs, puppets, and books in a nurturing and fun environment. For ages 1 to 2 years old and their caregivers.
Toddler Tales: Mondays 9:30 OR 10:30 am and Thursdays 11 am
Stories, finger plays, puppets, rhymes, dancing, and music liven the atmosphere of this early literacy program, as concepts such as colors, numbers, and letters are introduced. For ages 2 to 3 ½ years and their caregivers
Preschool Storytime: Tuesdays 2 pm and Wednesdays 1 pm
This interactive program invites your child to sing, dance, imagine, and learn! Ages 3 ½ to 5 years (caregivers must remain in the building)
Creative Kids: Mondays 4:15 pm
Join us for books, crafts, and games! Ages 5 to 7 years (caregivers must remain in the building)
Lego Club: Wednesday 4:15 pm
Dive in to our big bin of Legos and build with us! Ages 5 to 11 (caregivers for children under 8 years old must remain in the building)
Kids’ Book Club: Tuesday 4:15 pm
We invite you to an interactive read aloud book club where Mr. Scott does the reading and you get to listen, write, draw, imagine your own scenes from the book, and more! Ages 7 to 11 (caregivers for children under 8 years old must remain in the building)
Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead: Thursdays 4:15 pm
Join Mr. Scott and Ms. Perri for the Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead Club featuring hands on science, technology, engineering, arts, and math experiences. Ages 8 to 11
Wonderful Wednesdays: Wednesdays 6 pm–ONLY IN THE SUMMER SESSION
Held outside in the amphitheater (weather permitting) we host several special performances with puppeteers, magicians, scientists, musicians, and more! For all ages
